• Technical Lead, HP-UNESCO Brain Gain E-Learning Project at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (2009-2011): Led the technical implementation of E-learning infrastructure at Mbarara University. This involved the installation of a web-based learning management platform, installation of necessary equipment as well as training of users.
• Technical Lead, MEPI-MESAU E-Learning project component (2011-2012): Led the successful implementation of Video Conferencing, as a teaching and learning component and done amongst Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Makerere University and John Hopkins University, USA.
• Project Manager, Computerized Educational Management and Accounting System (CEMAS)/ Academic Information Management System (AIMS)/ Integrated Financial Managemet System (IFMS) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (2014- Todate): Guided teams in the development, customization and deployment of the systems as part of the Government of Uganda’s Public Finance Management Reforms; The systems aimed at using integrated ICT systems to improve financial accountability, work processes and streamline the student’s learning experience.
• Technical Lead– ADB V- Support to Higher Education, Science & Technology- ICT Component at Mbarara University (2015-2020): The project aimed to improve equitable access, quality and relevance of skills training and research leading to job creation and self-employment.
• Lead– Design and Implementation of Optic Fibre Back-Bone Infrastructure at Mbarara Town Campus- Mbarara University of Science and Technology (2009- 2013): Led successful design, implementation and integration of optic fiber backbone infrastructure to connect building blocks across the university campus. Project comprised civil works, cabling, installation and configuration of active devices.
• Lead– Design and Implementation of Optic Fibre Backbone Infrastructure and Last Mile Connectivity at Kihumuro Campus- Mbarara University of Science and Technology (2015-2018): Led successful design and implementation of optic fiber backbone infrastructure for the university’s Kihumuro Town campus. Project comprised civil works, cabling, installation and configuration of active devices as well as last-mile connectivity to National Optic-Fibre Backbone Infrastructure.
• Lead– Mbarara University of Science and Technology e Learning and e-administration strategy in response to COVID-19 induced Lockdowns (2020-2022): Led technical teams to mobilize constrained resources to ensure continuity in core university operations in the midst of lockdowns, which physically shut down the university.
• Infrastructure Lead– Mbarara University Data Science Research Hub (2021- Todate): The project aims to set up Data Science Infrastructure and enable Data Management and Analysis by use of medical images to support clinical diagnosis and patient care
• Deputy Team Leader- ICT- UCOBS (2022- Todate): MUST- Institutional University Cooperation titled “University as a facilitator for community-based sustainable solutions to demographic challenges in southwestern Uganda. ICT component of the project aims to improve communication, information access and uptake.
• Technical Lead– The MUST- Cyberschool Technologies- MasterCard Foundation eLearning Initiative (2022- Todate): The project aims to deepen e-learning at MUST through capacity building in digital pedagogy, avail affordable computing devices to staff and students, improve internet access, set up of digital content studio and improve the university’s Learning Management System
