The Chief Human Resources Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to all human resources functions within MUST. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive HR policies and programs that support the University’s mission, vision, and goals. The Director works closely with senior leadership to ensure that the University’s workforce is aligned with its strategic objectives and that HR practices are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a long-term HR strategy that aligns with the university’s overall strategic goals.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by managing employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and administering disciplinary actions.
- Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
- Performance Management: Establish performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, develop and deliver training programs, and support employee professional development.
- Succession Planning: Develop and implement a succession planning strategy to ensure the continuity of leadership and talent within the university.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and university policies.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department’s budget.
